After the theme activation and demo content import, we are ready to get started with basic theme settings like site title, tagline, favicon etc. To change your site title and tagline, navigate to Appearance > Customize in the WP dashboard side menu then open Site Identity Tab. Please note, these parameters are important for search engines.
Site Title
The text entered into this field appears as the website’s title in your browser tab.
Tagline
The text entered into this field appears as the website’s title in your browser tab after the page or site title.
Site Icon
You can upload/remove your site icon (favicon) here (must be 512x512px).
Homepage Settings
Go through Settings > Reading section and make sure that main static page is set as the homepage (front page), and a blog page is specified as posts page.
